I am delighted to be able to announce that from October 2012, you will be able to purchase CLAUDE and Sir Bobblysock branded National Book Tokens!
100,000 will be available from nearly every book shop (chain stores and independents) across the UK.
I am so thrilled and excited by this news and can't wait to start working out the design for the gift cards.
A big thank you to National Book Tokens and to Corinne at Hodder Children's book who have arranged all of this. If you've got a few minutes spare, I'd recommend you pootle on over to the NBT's site and have a snoop at their past designs harking back to when the tokens were first created in 1932. There are some really beautiful designs there, and I am very honoured that CLAUDE will be joining this rather exclusive club!
Hi Alex, we can't wait for your new Claude books to hit the shelves (or online...) Here in Australia my 5 year old is completely enamoured by Claude and Sir Bobblysock even making her own Sir Bobblysock from a striped red sock and using her soft toy dog as Claude. On the school holidays we are making a Claude clay model and house and she even took the book to school for show and tell. Thanks for a wonderful series...
