I seem a bit obsessed at the moment with drawing characters in bed...
It's probably because I have some big deadlines looming and I'm very, very tired! When my next picture book is finished I'll make sure I follow Mr. Penguin's lead and have a cup of tea in bed and catch up with the big wide world out there!
A bed picture is very cosy - and probably nice for children to see last thing at night.
ReplyDeleteHello Alex,
ReplyDeleteThis probably isn't the most orthadox way to get in contact with you. But I was advised by Mr Woodward at Bablake Careers to give it a shot. I am going to Loughborough University this year to study Publishing with English and I was wondering if you had any advise. The course wasn't my original choice, so I am a bit nervous about it all. I remember speaking to you years ago at one of the Careers evenings; don't worry I'm not expecting you to remember ha. Any info would be really appreciated. I love your illustrations by the way.

P.s I did try to find you on facebook, but failed miserably.
What a wonderful picture, loving Mr Penguin. He does seem to have the right idea.
